You want to make a comment (favorable or unfavorable) about a referee

LWYSA has a robust referee evaluation program. Online evaluations are collected for every home game scheduled by LWYSA, regardless of the organization that assigns the referee. The evaluation is very short, but provides LWYSA with valuable information about our referee performance. You need not know the name of the referee. No logon ID is required. Simply click on Information on the left side of the screen, then Ref Evaluation. Find your match and submit your evaluation.

Referee evaluations are stored on our system and viewable immediately by our referee mentors, instructors, and assignors. They are a factor used (but not the only factor) in determining whether or not a referee is being assigned at a level consistent with their skill level and to help determine what changes may be required to our education. While it is OK to be critical in these evaluations, please try to provide information that will help us determine what actions should be taken. It is also VERY important to submit positive feedback, so we know which referees to are ready to take on more challenging games.

You have a question about the Laws of the Game or becoming a referee

Go to the FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) section of this web site under the Information section on the left side. If your question is not already answered there, click on the "Ask a Question" entry at the top of the FAQ list. This will send a note to the referee mentors. You will normally get a response in 24-72 hours.

You need help using the Referee Website or have a comment or suggestion about the use of the Website

If you are a referee that is having trouble using the site to take an assignment, submit a report, or anything else pertaining to your job as a referee, please contact your referee assignor by phone. You may also send an email to refereeadministrator@lwysa.org with a copy to refereewebmaster@lwysa.org.
